4 CANADIAN TECHNICAL DELEGATES NEEDEED

The AOS is looking for dedicated individuals who are interested in becoming trained as Technical Delegates (TD’s) in all four of its disciplines (Slopestyle, Snowboardcross, Halfpipe and Alpine) over the next two years. The AOS has received a grant through the Ontario Ministry of Health to cover all the course fees, on-hill training costs and travel for four qualified individuals to become Canadian TD’s in snowboarding. Candidates are required to attend training at a minimum of 3 FIS events across Canada during the 2010-2011 season.

Deadline for submissions Monday September 24, 2010 at 5:00pm.

Team Manager - 2011 Canada Winter Games

The Canada Winter Games Team Manager will directly oversee the 2011 Canada Winter Games Team in the Halfpipe, Parallel Giant Slalom and Snowboard Cross disciplines. The Canada Winter Games will be held in Halifax, Nova Scotia, February 21-27 2011. It is the Team Manager’s primary responsibility to liaise between the Canada Games Mission Staff and the AOS, coaches, athletes and parents to ensure effective planning leading up the games and provide support to the coaches and athletes at the Games.
